Installation Manager

Position Type: Seasonal, Full-Time During Installation Season | Location: Midland Park, NJ | Reports To: Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Installation Manager to lead our installation crews and oversee project delivery for residential and commercial irrigation systems. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensure quality installations, supervise team performance, and maintain Green-Way Irrigation’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise 2-3 installation crews on multiple projects
Oversee scheduling, planning, and project timeline management
Ensure installations meet company standards and customer specifications
Manage parts and materials tracking using tablet-based scheduling software for accurate billing and inventory—accuracy is paramount
Monitor equipment maintenance and crew productivity
Conduct safety briefings and enforce company compliance standards
Train and develop installation crew members
Maintain professional appearance and brand standards (company uniforms and vehicles)
Communicate progress updates to customers and management
Troubleshoot field issues and provide effective problem-solving solutions

Required Qualifications

Experience & Technical Knowledge

5+ years irrigation installation experience
2+ years supervisory or leadership experience
Knowledge of irrigation systems and design
Blueprint reading and interpretation
Familiarity with Hunter and Rainbird products
Equipment operation and maintenance

Skills & Attributes

Strong leadership and team management
Problem-solving and decision-making
Excellent communication skills—strong English speaking and writing
Bilingual English/Spanish
Ability to work overtime during peak season
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
